Students will learn object-oriented programming with Java. The program contains 2 courses – Introductory Java and Intermediate Java. It prepares students to be successful in the AP computer science course in high school. For ages 14-18. No prior coding experience needed. This course is offered exclusively in the summer as a 3-week class. Preparing Students for the AP Computer Science A Course APCS Program Curriculum This track is offered exclusively in the summer as a 3-week class. Ages 14-18 – AP Computer Science Prep Schedule Meeting schedule is 1 hour per day Monday – Thursday for 3 weeks. Required course sequence for APCS track: Java I -> Java II JAVA 1 – Introductory Course * July 8 - 25 (9:00-10:00am, 1:00-2:00pm) * July 8 - 25 (1:00-2:00pm, 7:00-8:00pm) JAVA 2 – Intermediate Course * July 8 - 25 (12:00-1:00pm, 4:00-5:00pm) * July 8 - 25 (9:00-10:00am, 1:00-2:00pm)
