Program Description
Handcrafting textiles is an amazing work of art with many benefits. Your child will learn valuable life skills that will foster a great sense of accomplishment and build confidence and perseverance. We will introduce them to the basic skills and standard patterns of knitting and crochet, as well as basic sewing skills in an easy and fun way. Handcrafting gives children an opportunity for self-expression that is more approachable, authentic and sustainable than other art forms. It takes commitment and resilience both to master and to complete projects. We teach children that they can achieve great things, if they take them one step at a time.
