Program Description
Our Young Kids Photography program is full of hands-on creative lessons and educational games that celebrate self-expression through photography. Schedule: * Ages 7-9 (4pm-5pm) * Ages 10-12 (5pm-6pm) * Each program consists of its weekly genre so that your child has something new to anticipate with each coming week. * Our lessons are designed to keep your child engaged, whether it’s learning how to take a doggy portrait with real puppies! or arranging yummy cupcakes for practice in food photography * Our class takes place in a brand-new creative studio. We have two cameras that will be rotated, lights, and backdrops. If they already own a camera they can bring one too! (we are working on getting more cameras!) * For the young Kid photographers, each weekly schedule consists of a fun game that will help them learn certain concepts. These include “Find the Light, Guess the Aperture, The smile challenge, etc.

About The School of Creative Snaps
Photography is not a one-day learning process. I teach how to use the camera manually. There’s no automatic shooting in our class! Students will learn the core manual basics like Aperture, Shutter speed, and ISO. Along with lighting, and how to control and/or work with light around you. Throughout these important lessons, the kids will get different weekly photography genres, and a variety of subjects to explore and have fun with at the studio! Here at The School for Creative Snaps I respect the photography process and love to see progress. Eventually, shortly, at the end of every 8 weeks, there will be an exhibition at the studio for the parents to see their child’s work.
