Program Description
Continuing to provide a sound introduction to the basics of dance in an environment that supports creativity and the joy of movement, Ballet II introduces more structure and a greater emphasis on progression through structured exercises, including barre work and classical ballet combinations. Students will be challenged to apply themselves physically and mentally to the class, and will see the rewards of these efforts in increased strength and flexibility, confidence, and mental focus.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations within the 24-hour notice period may incur a fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost. Full refunds are available for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice. In cases of emergency or illness, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the provider.

About School of Nimbus
The School of Nimbus offers professional dance instruction in ballet, modern, hip-hop, tap, and other dance forms for children, teens, and adults. The School emphasizes small classes, excellent instruction, and opportunities for students to perform alongside Nimbus’ professional dancers, including in the annual Jersey City Nutcracker production. Classes are taught by Nimbus' company dancers and Teaching Artists, who are trained by national leaders in dance education. The School of Nimbus offers additional performance opportunities, such as the Junior Youth Ensemble (9-13 yrs.), Pre-Professional Program / Nimbus Youth Ensemble (13-18 yrs.) based on audition, the Jersey City Nutcracker, and Spring Showcase for students of all ages. The School of Nimbus allows students to explore creativity and movement while advancing their technique so that those who are interested in pursuing dance as a career receive the preparation they need. Our classes are also fun! For students who simply want to explore creative expression through dance, our classes provide a challenging yet supportive environment!
