Description
Recognizing that young children explore new ideas most confidently in the nurturing environment provided by their parents, this class is designed to get the whole family joyfully moving together. Toddlers and parents are introduced to basic dance positions, dynamics, coordination, expression, and body awareness concepts. Summer 2025 Schedule: * Full 8 Weeks: July 7 - August 30 * Session A: July 7 - August 2 * Session B: August 4 - August 30

About School of Nimbus
The School of Nimbus offers professional dance instruction in ballet, modern, hip-hop, tap, and other dance forms for children, teens, and adults. The School emphasizes small classes, excellent instruction, and opportunities for students to perform alongside Nimbus’ professional dancers, including in the annual Jersey City Nutcracker production. Classes are taught by Nimbus' company dancers and Teaching Artists, who are trained by national leaders in dance education. The School of Nimbus offers additional performance opportunities, such as the Junior Youth Ensemble (9-13 yrs.), Pre-Professional Program / Nimbus Youth Ensemble (13-18 yrs.) based on audition, the Jersey City Nutcracker, and Spring Showcase for students of all ages. The School of Nimbus allows students to explore creativity and movement while advancing their technique so that those who are interested in pursuing dance as a career receive the preparation they need. Our classes are also fun! For students who simply want to explore creative expression through dance, our classes provide a challenging yet supportive environment!
