* This group is taught in Russian and is part of our Russian Immersion Program* This is a class for children who are ready to begin their formal math education. In our classes, children will learn: * counting up to 100 * number patterns * addition and subtraction within 20 * comparisons: greater/less/equal * whole and its parts During this course, children will develop logical thinking with the help of: * puzzles with objects and shapes: classifications and analogies * Venn diagrams * logic puzzles with verbal clues and diagrams * special games that develop memory and attention * sudoku with pictures and numbers and many more specially selected activities The math portion of this course is based on the Singapore Math K(B) curricula.
