Description
Developing ideas and techniques Out-of-school-time workshops, for after-school programs, community centers, or youth groups. Our sessions feature out-of-your-seat, collaborative activities that help all levels of learners find their inner writer. Once they've shared their thoughts, ideas and opinions verbally throughout the sessions, students then approach writing as a form of self-expression, rather than as an assignment, completing writing tasks with a purpose. Writing activities for various genres, including opinion and persuasive, fictional narrative, personal narrative, explanatory. Help students with skills such as citing textual evidence; structuring a writing piece; using sensory details and descriptive language.
