Program Description
Lace up your sneakers and get ready for some high-energy basketball action at Bayside Park Basketball Courts . Our Friday night open sessions are specially designed for high school youth. Whether you're looking to improve your skills, play with friends, or just have a great time on the court, this is the place to be.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations within the 24-hour notice period may incur a fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost. Full refunds are available for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice. In cases of emergency or illness, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the provider.

From sports to homework help, the Department of Recreation offers a variety of programs for Jersey City youth to support its mission of encouraging people of all ages to partake in activities to stay physically and mentally fit, relieve stress, and become further acclimated with their surrounding community by way of recreational activities. Specifically, Recreation offers an array of activities that encompass but are not limited to ice skating, aerobics, swimming, and gymnastics as well as more conventional activities such as track, basketball, baseball, and football. The Department offers after-school programs at the Jersey City YMCA and Armory and various public schools throughout the city.
