GRIT EXPLORER SUMMER DAY CAMP 2024 Welcome to GRIT! Your local summer day camp destination! SPORTS, OUTDOORS, ACTIVE, SAFE, AND FUN! Expert instruction, top-notch facilities, great coaches, and the highest quality of summer sports and enrichment activities in Jersey City. Purpose-built for preschool to 1st graders, GRIT Explorer campers can pursue their passions and fuel their athletic and academic potential. We are more than a summer day camp; GRIT is a community. GRIT Explorer Summer Camp helps children build GRIT by blending the tradition of summer day camp activities with energizing and fun athletic (age-specific sports, parkour, gymnastics, skateboarding, basketball, soccer, swimming, etc. ), academic enrichment (Math, English, Reading & Writing, Chess, Critical Thinking, Public Speaking), and Arts & Crafts.... all designed to put your child ahead of the pack. Located next to Morris Square Park in Downtown Jersey City, GRIT Explorer BASE CAMP has a fantastic, well-ventilated, 5000-square-foot space with a large gym, two activity rooms, and a large outdoor public park outside! And with SWIM LESSONS TWICE A WEEK*, you won't find a better summer day camp in Jersey City! With our mission to keep kids outdoors and active as much as possible, our Explorers will do a range of sports and enrichment activities to keep them mentally sharp at GRIT and the surrounding area. Campers are formed into small teams by age and have two coaches plus a "Coach in Training" (CIT) with them at all times. For the Explorers, we offer a rest/nap time at 1:00 pm for those who need it.

Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations within the 24-hour notice period may incur a fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost. Full refunds are available for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice. In cases of emergency or illness, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the provider.

GRIT’s Mission is to get Kids ACTIVE! Our Sports Training facility is located in Downtown Jersey City with Gymnastics, Parkour, Ninja Warrior, Obstacle Course Racing, Skateboarding, Sports Training, and Basketball programs for Youth, Teens, and Adults. We are not your ordinary gym. Our programs are designed to improve your speed, coordination, flexibility & athleticism. We also offer Holiday Camp, After School, and Birthday Parties registration is now open for GRIT Adventure Summer Camp 2022 from June 13th to Sept 2nd! GRIT is located at the SW corner of 201 Marin Blvd facing the new Morris Square Park and directly across from the Boys & Girls Club.
