The summer chess class offers an exceptional opportunity for players rated USCF 1,000 and above to elevate their game to new heights. Designed to challenge and inspire, this class delves into advanced strategies and tactics crucial for competitive play. Students will delve into the nuances of opening theory, mastering key principles that set the stage for midgame success. Advanced middle game strategies will be explored, honing students' ability to plan ahead, recognize patterns, and seize opportunities. Endgame mastery will be a focal point, with students delving into complex endgame scenarios and refining their technique. Through the analysis of grandmaster games, students will gain insight into high-level decision-making and develop a deeper understanding of chess principles. The class emphasizes practical play, with students engaging in regular tournament-style matches and daily games against a variety of opponents, both online and in-person. This hands-on experience will sharpen their skills and provide invaluable real-world practice. Led by an experienced chess instructor, this class combines engaging instruction with interactive lessons and group activities. Students will have the opportunity to learn from one another, share insights, and grow as players in a supportive environment. Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations within the 24-hour notice period may incur a fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost. Full refunds are available for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice. In cases of emergency or illness, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the provider.
