Description
The Competitive Team is comprised of the strongest climbers. These climbers follow a rigorous training program suited for athletes aspiring to compete at the national level. Not all members need to compete in the USA Climbing Program to qualify for the team; they may choose to only Boulder or Top Rope or do both. They will be given workouts to maximize their strength, stamina, technique and problem solving skills. Competitions take place in January through March in the Norcal Youth Climbing League, and in September through November in USA Climbing events. Climbers Ability: 5.11-5.13; V3-V10+
