Program Description
New for 2025 – we are *super* excited about this one. Every time we craft, it feels like a party, and sometimes we even love designing craft parties – so we decided to bring all this DIY festivity to camp! There are so many clever, colorful projects that can be created for a party setting, and each day is a chance to bring your best spirits and personal flair. It’s crafty, it’s colorful, it’s full of festivity, and it’s fun! Projects include Party Tickets, Party People, Party Costumes, Party Banners and Disco Balls, Party Snacks, Party Games and Prizes, Party Puzzles, Mini Party Tents, Party Monsters, and of course, a Party Time to finish the week!

Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations within the 24-hour notice period may incur a fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost. Full refunds are available for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice. In cases of emergency or illness, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the provider.

About Curious Jane
We are project-making all the time! Everything we do revolves around science + engineering + design. We develop this content in our sunny Brooklyn workspace, and we use it for our own offerings as well as to work with like-minded organizations. We run project-based summer camps for girls ages 6 to 12, where creativity is at the core. Campers can take classes like Toy Design, Spy Science, Kitchen Chemistry, Design Studio, Light It Up, Room Makeover and more. We print an ad-free maker magazine that is packed with colorful DIYs to do and make at home. It is published quarterly and delivered straight to our subscribers’ doors. We share our content on our project blog, with quick videos and step-by-step how-tos. Search for your maker style and find a set of projects curated just for you! And we license our content for publishing as well as to entrepreneurial young women who want to bring Curious Jane to their own communities. Start a camp, build a business! It’s open-source DIY. Our core audience is girls 6 to 12, though teens (too!) love our magazine and online DIYs. Our style is collaborative, colorful and fun. And our mission is to build confidence through making things.
